Summer
Summer in Atascadero means pleasant evenings in short sleeves – families eating dinner al fresco, friends gathered around bonfires or sitting outside at a local brewery, talking and laughing late into the night. Visitors choose Atascadero for its summer sunshine and they are rarely disappointed, as it averages highs in the 80s and 90s and lows in the mid-50s.
Fall
Fall in Atascadero is crisp, colorful and clear. While the rest of the Central Coast is accustomed to the same colors year-round, Atascadero's trees deliver authentic autumn vibes with their illuminating red, yellow and orange leaves. Atascadero holds on to summer temperatures well after the transition into fall, with highs in the 70s and lows around 40 degrees.

For a getaway bursting with festive celebrations, hat-and- scarf weather and simply genuine cheer, Atascadero in wintertime offers a magical experience. The nighttime lows in the mid-20s and 30s are balanced out by daytime mid-60s for a refreshing coolness. And if you're around during the annual Winter Wonderland event, you may even see a little (imported) snow.
