Over the weekend, Atascadero held their 24th annual Hot El Camino Cruise Nite and Mid-state Cruisers Car Show. This year the festivities were extended to include a brand new entertainment event, “Dancing in the Streets.” This new celebration included a variety of favorite local bands, food and beer vendors, antique cars, and lots of dancing.
Cruise Nite festivities began on Friday, with cars cruising the street between the hours of 6:30-8:30 p.m. The Mid-State Cruisers Car Show was held at Atascadero Lake Park On Saturday, showcasing a wide array of beautiful, antique cars. Then, from 5-7 p.m., the Cruisers’ antique cars were lined up one each side of the Sunken Gardens in downtown Atascadero for the brand new event, Dancing in the Streets.
